A significant jump toward 50K in week three. Let's break it down.
A total of 15,046 words, which is a significant jump. For this, I'd like to thank the typing class I took in my sophomore year of high school. It was a substitute for a creative writing class where I was the only guy. Hey, I never said I was perfect.
I'll keep this update short since many of you are frantically typing/writing while bleary eyes try to focus on the notepad/computer screen.
NaNo Advice For Week Three
Keep going, even if you won’t reach 50K by midnight, November 30th. Think of it this way ... 20,000 words is 20,000 words closer to completing your novel. Don't burn yourself out. Instead, plug away when you have free moments throughout the day. You'll be amazed at the accomplishments.
The Numbers
Write Decisions Blogs
Goal: 10,000 words | Completed: 1,652 words
I'll keep plowing through to reach the project goal.
Vantaverse -- A Superhero Universe
Goal: 3,000 words | Completed: 7,421 words
This is the meat of this week's numbers. I’ll reach 5,000 words, if not more, before it’s done. I have over 20 pages of written material to digitize, plus some additional items defining new characters and scenarios. The Vantaverse will be fleshed out by the deadline.
What Did We Learn Today, Rich?
To paraphrase the saying of that sneaker company they made a movie about: Do the thing about the thing that you just do. See you at the end of NaNoWriMo 2023.
